Spring break is right around the corner which means people are planning their yearly escape of loud music and crazy parties. If you're anything like us though, you're looking forward to a week of relaxation with friends and family. Beaches aren’t just meant for wild spring breakers; it can also be an excellent place for a more close and intimate setting with nature. Check out these four awesome beach locations where you can pitch a tent and build a campfire right next to the ocean waves.

Bahia Honda State Park (Florida)

Bahia Honda State Park has perfect weather for camping in March! They offer three camping areas with a total of 80 campsites for both tent and RV campers. You can also enjoy kayaking, hiking, swimming, and biking all on the beach!

Padres Island (Texas)

The Padre Island National Seashore park provides 70 miles of coastline for you to adventure along with five different campgrounds, all of which are open year-round. Malaquite Campground offers the most amenities with access to flushing toilets and running water while the other campsites are more primitive.

Grand Isle State Park (Louisiana)

The main camping area at Grand Isle State Park consists of 45 campsites, making this one a little bit more intimate than some of the others on our list. Enjoy a day of fishing followed by cooking your fresh catch over a campfire. Most sites have electrical and water hook-ups however 14 sites are unimproved if you’re looking for a more one-with-nature type of experience.

San Elijo State Beach (California)

Located on the San Diego Coast, San Elijo State Beach offers camping, swimming, surfing, showers and picnicking. If you are looking for some day adventures, there is also a nearby reef for snorkeling and diving!
